Meet Meghan
I am excited to introduce you all to Inscribe Paper Studio, nestled off the beaten path in the heart of olde towne Daphne, Alabama. What started as in-home stationery design in 2022, has grown into a petite paper studio specializing in custom stationery and sprinkled with paper-related gifts like planners, gift wrapping accessories, framed quotes and prayer cards.
My affinity for fine paper started in the early 2000s when I had a college job working for a wedding planner in Baton Rouge. Since then, I've fallen in love with lettering, calligraphy, etiquette, print methods, pretty ribbon, good pens and the art of a handwritten note. Throughout my career as a marketing professional, advertising brand manager and event manager, I honed several skills that serendipitously align very well with owning my own stationery studio.
When I think back to my first high school job at a bridal boutique and sit with a bride at my current studio to select her wedding invitation suite, it feels like my career has come full circle. Life is sweet this way, but it wasn't always obvious or easy. After many botched interviews, missed opportunities and hours of prayer and surrender to God's plan and timing, I finally feel like I've figured out what I am supposed to do when I grow up. And coincidentally, this little shop has been a part of my story since April 2009, when Nathan and I had dinner in the very spot where my desk is now when this cottage was the original Camellia Cafe.
I am forever grateful for the support of my family, friends and clients-turned-friends as I am blessed to spend my days in the paper shop of my dreams. As they say, if you find a job you love, and you'll never work a day in your life.
